Emperor Yan's Mausoleum Scenic Area

It was built in 967 with a history of more than 1,000 years. With the rise and fall of successive dynasties, Emperor Yan’s Temple has been destroyed and rebuilt for many times. The core part of Emperor Yan’s Mausoleum Scenic Area covers an area of 5 square kilometers and its total planning area amounts to 102.5 square kilometers.
It consists of three functional areas, including sacrificial area, worship area and memory area. It’s composed of more than 80 natural and cultural landscapes, such as Emperor Yan’s Mausoleum Hall, Shennong Hall, Shennong Garden and Huaxia Square.
